Dear Blog Readers
Here at Wily Jeneric, we look forward to and take pride in putting together our annual Holiday Cards. This year, however, we find ourselves several weeks behind schedule with no hope of catching up.
But lo! an idea was born.
Instead of putting ourselves in a tizzy with photography, editing, printing, mailing, etc, we wondered if we could cut out 3/4 of the work and post our Holiday Card to the blog. And then we thought why limit ourselves to a single card? Why not offer up several cards over the course of the holiday season? And then we thought hey, we'll save a lot of money doing this. Why not take the money we save and donate it to a charity? And THEN we said why not let the dear, loyal readers of Wily Jeneric pick that charity?
So here's the deal, dear readers of Wily Jeneric. In the upper right corner of the blog, you'll see a poll asking you to pick the charity to which we should donate our Holiday Card Savings. Vote early and vote often. At the end of this post, you'll find links to each charity so you can do a little research to cast an informed ballot.
In return, we'll post multiple Holiday Cards each week, culminating December 24 with the Card we intended to print, sign, seal and mail. Along the way, we've got at least one contest planned, designed to generate more income for the charity.
The children were nestled, all snug in their bed.

Click the links for additional information on each charity.
1. Heifer International
2. Doctors Without Borders
3. Union of Concerned Scientists
4. Feeding America

Answers!
1. Grandpa Art's card was an example of Alternating!
2. Santa and the girls shared... overalls! And you can see that Jeneric was brave enough to sit on his lap! We overheard her gift request: a hula hoop.

The photo below is a bit like Where's Waldo, but left of Mrs Claus, you will discover 2 overall wearing girls, who are very intent on the story.

Pictures to come...but first any guesses: What did Toddler Wily, Jeneric, and Santa all have in common this morning?
Also any bets on who was brave enough to sit in Santa's lap?!?
