Camping

Last weekend, while Jenni was retreating with faculty, Eric and the girls went camping.

Playing in the tent was definitely popular.




So was jumping out of trees.


Jeneric's photography skills are improving.


Everyone enjoyed the campfire and the popcorn (no s'mores for this family - toasted marshmallows are too messy, according to Toddler Wily and Jeneric).


Not sure the chipmunk enjoyed any popcorn, but he did have the girls giggling with his antics.

Labor Day

Not much of a post because we didn't take any pictures on our Labor Day weekend camping trip (ahem, Grandpa and Grandma took them all). We hit a lake, camped for 2 nights (wherein Toddler Wily managed to cut her chin and nose, bruise her forehead and find a leech. Jeneric discovered campfires, dragonflies, night skies, crickets, fishing, Tang, ...).

Camping

The Wily Jeneric family took to the woods for a little camping adventure. Along the way, we picked up a few more folks, a dog and nary a mosquito bite!


Fires are for s'mores.


You mean I'm sleeping here? I didn't know they made adult-sized cribs!


On the first and second day, we hit the beach.


As always, the sand was tasty,


the water chilly,


and the splashing...


excellent.


The best beach days end with a little nap.


Someone was quite proud to carry her beach toys in a backpack.


Ah, tasty breakfast.
