Celebrating the end of spring break with a little random.

First, we say good bye to winter.


Then we cuddle up with Walkabout for a good movie.


And end the week with some superhero action.

Random Tuesday

1. When it's time to be a superhero, you can put together a costume with a leotard and dishtowel. Yes, we do need to watch The Incredibles for Edna's sound advice about capes.


2. Halloween is coming, which means costumes from Grammy (thanks!). Jeneric plays in hers, straight up, no modifications.


Toddler Wily, on the other hand.

Well, this isn't her costume at all (she's got an awesome puppy outfit). This is a bathrobe. With a cat on the back. Which means, when you add a trick-or-treat bag, it's a cat costume. Anyone want to bet on which costume she goes trick-or-treating in?

3. Honeycrisp apples are in season and we're all enjoying them.

Random Thursday

It may be random, but it is a post. Two in one week!

1. How many of you built fortresses out of cereal boxes?


2. Someone will one day paint her own car. Just you wait.




4. And she'll make sure there's nary a screw loose.


5. This video shows the girls at their best - a Rube Goldberg-esque method for scraping one's plate and a demonstration of exactly how to be a ham.


(ps We made mozzarella. It was very creamy, very rich and very good. See?)

1. Jeneric can buckle her own seat belt. This is awesome as it means less hunching for the adults in her life.
