4W

What's in a number? If you're a new parent, your world is covered with numbers. Weight, height, age, number of teeth, hours of sleep, ounces of milk, etc. Here at Wily Jeneric, we proudly add one more number to that ever-expanding list:

4W.



Baby Jeneric's feet were formally measured for her first pair of shoes not too long ago. She's a 4W and no, the W does not stand for Wily. W = wide. You may have noticed Baby Jeneric's pudge, which extends down to her feet, making them a little taller than the average toddling foot.

Our first home is officially someone else's first home. So long, NJ. It was fun.


*FO = finished object.

Daddy! What are you doing? Can't you see I just woke up from a nap?


Magnets? What magnets? I didn't take any magnets off the fridge. I think one of those cats looks suspicious, though.


Oh, you mean those magnets, the ones in my hands!


Carrots are good, but carrot pieces are even better (they stick to the hair more readily than the mashed version).

We're not in Kansas anymore

And we're not in New Jersey, either. Two weeks ago, we made a successful move to Michigan and a day later, Jenni began work at MSU.





What have we been doing since our last post? Quite a bit. Here's a brief recap:

1. We went to California for fun and business. We saw family,






friends (look closely, you'll see another human),



and a few animals, too. Baby Jeneric had a fine time exploring the Children's museum in San Jose and was impressed by the sea creatures at the Montery Bay aquarium.









2. Baby Jeneric had her 9-month check-up. Vital statistics are currently packed in another box. She's roughly 22 pounds.



3. Teeth! Baby Jeneric thought August 24th was a fine time to push through her two bottom teeth. A few days later, out popped a top tooth and we expect that to be a pair of upper teeth in another day or two.



Whew. We're sure tired. As we settle in, we promise to post more frequently. Until then, we'll keep searching for a real bagel, a real jug handle and real traffic.
