Announcing the arrival of Baby Wily! Born October 1 at 2:24 pm, she weighed in at 8 lb 11 ounces, 20.25 inches tall.
Total time in labor and delivery: 4.5 hours. Jenni was barely admitted to the hospital when Baby Wily came screaming into the world. Mom and Baby are doing just fine and Toddler Jeneric is pleased as anything to have a little sister. Dad is pretty chuffed, too.

Congrats!
Ha, I win the baby birthday betting pool yet again. Now I just need to hone my powers of prognostication to beat History Junkie in the betting on the November election.
Here is my record of prognostication....both of these predictions were made weeks in advance:
Predicted date and time that Baby Jeneric would be born: Nov. 9th, 2006, 5:41am
Actual time that Baby Jeneric was born: Nov. 9th, 2006, 2:13pm
Predicted date and time that Baby Wily would be born: Oct. 1st, 2008, 8:00pm
Actual time that Baby Wily was born: Oct. 1st, 2008, 2:24pm
Within 9 hours the first time around, and within 6 hours the second time around.
To those who weren't quite as accurate, I think you need to revise your equations. Next time, don't forget to include the relativistic time dilation due to the Earth's gravitational field.
Hmm. Don't put out your psychic shingle just yet. I think I was a *bit* closer to the actual time of birth and a lot closer to the actual weight. I win an orginial Toddler Jeneric art!
Congrats! Glad to know everything went well. I am hoping that I can have a similar experience - 4.5 hours sounds good to me.
Yay! Baby Wily in the house!
